Now I feel kinda lost Should I use a game kit and just replace the sprites to make a game? should i start from the absolute beginning and relearn C#? Should i jump with raycasting instead of checkRadius. when i used a tilemap my character would end up trapped between the tilemap collider after jumping) and the latter I gave up very soon when I saw it used the standard assets (should I have not and continued with that? I found it very disappointing to use the robot preFab instead of building the character from scratch). I found the former to be doing many things in a "this'll work for now let's move on" way and when I wanted to put something more in it all fell apart (i.e. I tried one made from CasanisPlays channel (not listed here) and the one from Brackeys. I started making a 2d platformer game for a uni project and I started doing some of those tutorials. If you find something that you think should / shouldn't be on here, reply or DM.
